How to Order a Birthday Cake in Cabo for a Villa or Resort — villa & hotel delivery

How do you order a birthday cake in Cabo? Choose a cake from the Cabo Delivery celebration cakes collection by guest count, add the name or short message you want on it, and tell the team your villa or resort, delivery date and who will receive it. Delivery timing, customization and availability are confirmed with you before fulfillment, and the English-speaking concierge on WhatsApp can help with anything that is not listed online.

Birthdays in Los Cabos tend to happen far from your usual bakery. You may be in a rental villa with a borrowed kitchen, or at a resort where the front desk handles every delivery. This guide explains how to pick the right cake size, write the request so nothing is lost, and coordinate the handoff with your property. To start now, send a WhatsApp message to Cabo Delivery or browse the celebration cakes in Cabo.

Step 1: Choose a cake size by guest count

Many cakes in the catalog list how many people they serve, which makes it easier to match the cake to your group. These are examples of English-listed cakes currently in the celebration cakes category:

If you are unsure, choose by the number of people who will actually be at the table that night, not the total size of the trip. Prefer a classic flavor? The catalog also includes options such as a Tres Leches Birthday Cake, chocolate cake, carrot cake and cheesecake.

Step 2: Decide on the message and decoration

Customizable cakes are the easiest way to add a name, an age or a short greeting. Keep the message short so it fits the cake, and spell names exactly as you want them written. Write them in your request like this: [Happy Birthday, Name]. If you need a theme, a color palette or a decoration that is not shown on the product page, mention it in your WhatsApp message and the team will tell you what can be confirmed.

Allergies and ingredients

If anyone in the group has a food allergy or dietary restriction, say so before ordering and ask about ingredients. Do not assume a cake is free of any ingredient unless the team confirms it for that specific product.

Step 3: Plan the delivery to your villa or resort

Where the cake goes matters as much as which cake you choose.

Villas and vacation rentals

Share the full property name, the area (Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo or the Tourist Corridor), any gate or security instructions and the name of the person receiving the cake. Make sure there is space in the refrigerator if the cake arrives before the party.

Resorts and hotels

Many resorts receive outside deliveries at the front desk or the concierge rather than at the room. Include the guest name on the reservation and the room number if you have it, and ask the hotel how it handles food deliveries and refrigeration. Our guide to the Cabo hotel delivery handoff explains the same front-desk process for other orders.

Surprises

If the birthday person should not see the delivery, give the team a discreet contact and a time when they will be away from the room or the kitchen. Cakes and customizations depend on availability, so sending your request as early as possible gives you more options.

Candles, plates and serving

Villa kitchens are not always stocked for a party. Check whether your rental has a cake knife, small plates, forks and a lighter, and add candles or party supplies to your request if anything is missing. At a resort, ask the restaurant or in-room dining team whether they can serve an outside cake and if any plating fee applies.

Step 4: Make it a full birthday setup

A cake is often the centerpiece of a bigger surprise. You can review these in the same conversation:

• Balloons and villa decor, from letter balloons to jumbo numbers
• Birthday decorations in Cabo for a themed room or terrace
• Flower delivery in Cabo for the table or the guest of honor
• A mariachi serenade to sing Las Mañanitas when the cake comes out
• Drinks for the toast through wine and spirits delivery
