Which Private Bartender Option Fits Your Cabo Villa?
A practical comparison of three private bar starting options, with serving hours, guest minimums and clear responsibility for bottles and supplies.

The right private bartender option for a Cabo villa depends first on who is providing the bottles and supplies. Cabo Private Bar has three starting options: bartender-only service from $199 USD, a Signature Cocktail Setup from $349 USD, and Cabo Cocktail Hour from $59 USD per person with an eight-person minimum. Compare the inclusions and serving hours, not just the headline numbers.

| Option | Included starting scope | Separate or to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Your Villa Bartender | Bartender, bar tools, shopping guidance, and bar-area setup and cleanup at your villa’s bar or counter. | You provide alcohol, mixers, ice and drinkware. |
| Signature Cocktail Setup | Two cocktail recipes, one zero-proof option, planned mixers, citrus, garnishes and ice; bartender, tools and bar-area setup and cleanup. | Alcohol and drinkware are separate. |
| Cabo Cocktail Hour | Two cocktails and one zero-proof selection; bartender, quoted spirits, mixers, ice, garnishes and a simple service setup. | Exact spirits, quantities and servings in the quote. Drinkware and additional rentals only if listed. |
Option one: your villa is already stocked
Your Villa Bartender is a useful starting point when you want someone to prepare and serve drinks from supplies you provide. The starting price is $199 USD for four serving hours, planned for up to ten adults with one bartender. It uses an existing villa bar or suitable counter.
Before choosing it, look beyond the liquor cabinet. Do you have the mixers, citrus or other ingredients your preferred drinks need? Is there sufficient ice, and is the drinkware available for guests to use? Shopping guidance is included, but the supplies themselves are your responsibility under this starting option.
Send a list of what is already there, including quantities where possible. “We have tequila” gives less planning information than naming the bottles and stating whether you still need mixers. If you would like extra sourcing, ask for it to be agreed in the quote.
Option two: a planned cocktail menu, with bottles separate
Signature Cocktail Setup starts at $349 USD for four serving hours, also for up to ten adults with one bartender. It adds a defined menu direction: two cocktail recipes and one zero-proof option, with planned mixers, citrus, garnishes and ice.
This suits a brief where you want the drinks to feel coordinated but prefer to provide or separately arrange the alcohol. It is not an alcohol-included package. Drinkware is also separate, so confirm whether your villa’s existing glasses are suitable or whether another arrangement is needed.
Describe the flavors your group likes rather than sending an enormous cocktail list. For example, you can ask for one citrus-led choice, one different style and a nonalcoholic option. The team can then confirm the recipes and quantities appropriate to the agreed plan.
Option three: a hosted selection with quantities agreed
Cabo Cocktail Hour starts at $59 USD per person for three serving hours, with an eight-person minimum. That makes the starting minimum total $472 USD. Unlike the first two options, it includes the spirits specified in the quote alongside the listed mixers, ice, garnishes and service setup.
The important word is “specified.” This is not an unlimited bar or a promise that every brand and cocktail is included. Read the proposal for the selected spirits, quantities and servings. If beer, wine or a particular bottle matters to your group, ask about it rather than assuming it is covered.
Compare complete totals for the same evening
Imagine eight adults who want cocktails before dinner. The bartender-only headline may look lowest, but their comparison still needs the supplies they must arrange themselves. The hosted starting minimum includes a different scope and one fewer serving hour. Neither option can be judged fairly without those differences.
Ask each proposal to identify the staff, drinks, quantities, equipment, service hours, travel, applicable taxes or fees, and final total in USD. Preparation and breakdown are scheduled separately from serving hours; extra serving time is quoted in advance. Larger groups, complex menus or multiple service areas need staffing assessed rather than simply extending the up-to-ten-adult package price.
For the practical supply handoff, use the villa cocktail hour checklist. If dinner is part of the plan, mention a private chef meal in your request so the timing can be discussed separately.
Common questions
Can we request an alcohol-free bar?
Yes. Describe the preferences and any allergies so suitability can be checked. A completely alcohol-free setup is a request for a tailored proposal, not an automatic substitute price.
Is a portable bar included?
The starting setups use an existing villa bar or suitable counter. Portable bars, drinkware and other rentals are confirmed separately before booking.
Does the form take payment or reserve the date?
No. It sends an enquiry by email. Service in Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo and the Tourist Corridor depends on availability and property access. You review the final scope, price and booking terms before reserving.
