The Cabo Villa Cocktail Hour Checklist

One checklist for coordinating supplies, workspace and timing, so your villa cocktail hour begins with a clear plan rather than last-minute assumptions.

A well-planned villa cocktail hour needs one clear agreement about bottles, mixers, ice, glasses, workspace and timing. Before buying anything, decide which items your chosen bartender option covers and assign the rest. This checklist helps you coordinate a Cabo villa setup without assuming that “bar service” includes every supply or rental.

Send your cocktail hour details if you would like help turning the checklist into a written quote.

Match the checklist to the package

With Your Villa Bartender, you provide alcohol, mixers, ice and drinkware. That option starts at $199 USD for four serving hours, up to ten adults with one bartender. It includes bar tools, shopping guidance, and bar-area setup and cleanup, using your villa’s bar or suitable counter.

Signature Cocktail Setup starts at $349 USD for four serving hours, up to ten adults with one bartender. It includes two cocktail recipes and one zero-proof option, planned mixers, citrus, garnishes and ice, plus the bartender, tools and bar-area setup and cleanup. Alcohol and drinkware are separate.

Cabo Cocktail Hour starts at $59 USD per person for three serving hours, with an eight-person minimum and $472 starting total. It includes a hosted selection with the spirits and quantities specified in the proposal, not unlimited drinks. Drinkware and additional rentals are included only if listed. The bartender service comparison explains the differences in more detail.

Take an inventory before you shop

Ask your property contact what is actually available for your stay. Count the drinkware you intend to use and describe the bottles already stocked. A listing photo of a furnished bar does not establish that the bottles are yours to use or that glasses can be taken to every area of the property.

Keep this inventory simple: item, quantity, location and any permission still needed. Share changes if groceries or drinks are delivered later. Two guests buying the same mixers is easy to avoid when one person keeps the final list.

Do not use a generic drinks-per-person formula as your final shopping instruction. The agreed menu, serving window, group preferences and package scope should guide the quantities in your proposal. Ask how any additional supplies would be handled if your plans change.

Give the bar a workable place in the villa

Choose the serving location with your property contact, then tell the bar team about it. An attractive poolside corner may be far from the refrigerator or preparation counter. A kitchen counter may be convenient until the chef needs the same space to plate dinner.

Describe the route between storage, preparation and guests. Check any restrictions on outside staff, delivery access and use of glassware in particular areas. If you want the bar outdoors, discuss an alternative location in case the intended spot is unsuitable. A portable bar is a separate item to confirm, not a default inclusion.

Write a schedule guests can actually follow

Use Cabo local times and state what each time means. “Start at six” could refer to staff arrival or the first drink being served. Your quote should distinguish preparation, the serving window and breakdown, including any access requirements before guests gather.

For example, if your group plans to return from an outing before cocktails, leave the intended serving time open for discussion until the day’s itinerary is settled. This is a planning suggestion, not a promise that staff can move the service window on the day. Extra time and schedule changes need confirmation.

If cocktails lead into a meal, the chef dinner and cocktail hour guide gives a single timeline for coordinating both teams without merging their separate inclusions.

Last questions before you accept the quote

What if our guest count changes?

Tell the team before finalizing the arrangement. The first two starting packages are planned for up to ten adults with one bartender; larger groups or more complicated setups are assessed and quoted separately.

Who handles cleanup?

Bar-area setup and cleanup are listed in the first two starting options. Ask the proposal to state the full scope for your chosen service, including any glassware or rental handoff. Do not interpret bar service as whole-villa housekeeping.

How do we confirm the booking?

First review the drinks, quantities, staff, hours, equipment, applicable fees and final USD total. Availability, property access, payment requirements and booking terms must be confirmed. Submitting an enquiry does not reserve a date.

Share your checklist and request your bar quote.
